As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

- We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient Care: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Professional Practice: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
- Collaboration: Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Certification: Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Experience: One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) training required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
