About the Role
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and care. This role involves maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and students. The technologist must complete required certifications and maintain strong professional relationships with the cardiology team to enhance patient care.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated registered technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a cath lab and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare and position patients, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and perform tasks as delegated by Charge person or manager.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
