Job Summary
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilizes downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide essential support in cardiovascular procedures within a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring high-quality patient care and adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
