Job Summary
The Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in the preparation and execution of cardiovascular procedures. This individual will be responsible for preparing equipment, positioning patients, and providing exceptional patient care during these complex procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain equipment for cardiovascular procedures
- Position patients for optimal imaging and intervention
- Provide exceptional patient care and support during procedures
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or RCIS certified
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
