About the Role
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. This role involves maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and serving as a mentor for new staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or RCIS registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification, Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
