• $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience

The Catheterization Laboratory Rad Technologist plays a vital role in the cardiovascular program by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. This position involves working closely with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, while also serving as a mentor for new hires and students.

1. Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
2. Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
3. Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
4. Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
5. Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
6. Maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.

Candidates must have an accredited Radiologic Technology program completion and relevant certifications, ensuring a high standard of patient care. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.

Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program. One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
