We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures
• Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care
• Maintain a sterile environment
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff
• Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
• Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
• One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
• Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
