We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
