About the Role
- This position plays a critical role in the Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist team, ensuring excellent patient care through preparation and operation of equipment for various cardiac procedures.
- The ideal candidate will have completion of a radiologic technology program, relevant certifications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced procedural area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
Compensation Package:
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
