Norman Regional Health System, a community hospital system nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, seeks a knowledgeable and caring Registered Technologist to expand its cardiovascular program.
Role Overview
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in patient care within our state-of-the-art cardiovascular program.
We are seeking a team member with previous Procedural Area experience to join our innovative cardiovascular team.
We will soon be moving to our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Assess patient condition and provide personalized care.
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote healing.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.
- Utilize downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
- Nurture strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver outstanding patient care.
Requirements
Prioritize completing Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months and mastering all competencies listed in department policy.
Hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS registration or certification.
Qualifications
Complete a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology.
Licensure and Certification
Achieve Basic Life Support training during orientation and maintain Current Basic Life Support throughout employment.
Achieve ACLS training within six months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
