Qualifications and Requirements
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Maintain all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Advanced Life Support training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
