">The Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist will play a crucial role in preparing for cardiovascular procedures and providing exceptional patient care. This position involves maintaining a sterile environment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and collaborating closely with a team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
">Responsibilities

- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment. ">
- Assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing exceptional patient care. ">
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. ">
- Participate in precepting and mentoring new hires and radiology students. ">
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager. ">
Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or a 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology. ">
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care. ">
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment. ">
- Eligibility for ARRT certification as a Registered Technologist and/or RCIS certification. ">

Education and Experience
