We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing equipment, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications and training in radiologic and cardiovascular technology, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. This position requires collaboration with a team of cardiologists and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
