Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radiologic Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art cardiovascular program.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilizes downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Develops and maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists - ARRT or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS certification required, ACLS within 6 months of hire.
