Responsibilities
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition.
- Maintaining a sterile environment.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- A graduate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - ARRT or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
