Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and establish and maintain a sterile environment.
You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
