Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in supporting our innovative cardiovascular program. This position requires collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists to ensure excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Assess patient conditions, taking into account their medical history and current status
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols to prevent contamination
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership, fostering open communication and teamwork
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
