What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Rad Tech Career Opportunity position at Norman Regional Health System?
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Technologist to join our Cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System. This role involves preparing and managing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. As a CV Rad Tech, you will also serve as a preceptor for new employees and students, participating in their orientation and training.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing patient conditions, preparing and positioning patients for care, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. Additionally, you will use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other delegated tasks assigned by Charge persons or managers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire
- Previous experience working in a Cath Lab environment
