This role is responsible for providing patient care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and be able to complete designated training within specified time frames.
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System works closely with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. This includes preparing and operating equipment, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Provide patient care in a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Requirements:
- Hold current RCIS certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT).
- Have Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training.
