Responsibilities
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care, establish and maintain a sterile environment, serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff. Additionally, they will use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have completed a formal Radiologic Technology program and possess relevant certifications. Previous procedural area experience is preferred, but not required. They must also have Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training prior to providing patient care and maintain current BLS throughout their employment. Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
