Job Overview
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to professional practice standards.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Requirements
- Candidate must have completed a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Prior procedural area experience is preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training are required.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
