The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join its team in preparing and assisting during cardiovascular procedures in a state-of-the-art facility.
This position requires maintaining a sterile environment, providing patient care, and collaborating with a skilled team of cardiologists. The ideal candidate is a registered technologist with a strong background in radiologic technology and must complete necessary certifications within six months of hiring.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate exceptional patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire.

- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
