Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and implementing equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Providing critical patient care and establishing a sterile environment.
- Mentoring new hires and radiology students, and participating in preceptorship programs.
- Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Formal education in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular program, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training during orientation prior to providing patient care, with current BLS certification required throughout employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
