What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Position position at Norman Regional Health System?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare and position patients for care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in orientation of new staff.
Requirements:
- Certified as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or registered through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year of experience working in a Catheterization Laboratory setting preferred.
