What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Position position at Norman Regional Health System?
**Overview of Norman Regional Health System**
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our team.
We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, providing excellent patient care and opportunities for professional growth.
**Responsibilities of the Rad Technologist**
As a Rad Technologist in our Cath Lab, you will prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and provide patient care while maintaining a sterile environment.
You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you should have completed an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program and hold relevant certifications, such as ARRT or RCIS.
A minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred, but not required.
