Job Summary:
- Prepares and operates equipment during medical procedures in the cath lab.
- Assesses patient conditions, maintains a sterile environment, and collaborates with cardiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participates in the orientation of new staff.
Our ideal candidate will have completed a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, and be eligible for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Previous experience in a procedural area is preferred. A strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership is essential for facilitating excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment and adheres to departmental policies and procedures.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff and uses downtime effectively.
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
