Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care through preparation and maintenance of equipment, patient assessment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Prepares equipment for procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and supplies are available.
- Assesses patient condition, prepares patients for procedures, and provides supportive care throughout the process.
- Maintains asepsis, adhering to strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Participates in precepting new staff members, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Use downtime efficiently by completing delegated tasks, such as stocking rooms and checking equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to provide excellent patient care, fostering strong working relationships.
Qualifications
- Current registration or eligible with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
