The team collaborates closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide vital cardiovascular care. This involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Qualifications include completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, and certification in cardiovascular (CV) or cardiac invasive (CI) and/or vascular intervention (VI). Basic Life Support (BLS) training is also required.

- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.

- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
