Job Summary
- Prepares and operates equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Ensures patient care and maintains a sterile environment.
- Collaborates with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
- Educates new hires and maintains professional standards.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Participating in preceptorship programs and radiology student orientation.
- Utilizing downtime effectively by completing delegated tasks.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training.
- Current RCIS registration and/or ARRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training.
- Experience working in a Cath Lab or procedural area is preferred.
