We are looking for a highly skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our innovative healthcare team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment.
This role involves collaborating with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, providing mentorship to new staff, and building strong professional relationships to enhance patient care.
Job Summary:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare and position patients for care
- Maintain a sterile environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- BLS training required during orientation, current BLS certification maintained throughout employment
- ACLS training achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
