Job Description
- Preparation and Maintenance of Equipment: Ensure that all necessary equipment is prepared and maintained for procedures, adhering to strict guidelines for sterility and quality control.
- Patient Care and Assessment: Assess patient conditions, prepare patients for procedures, and provide optimal care throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Professional Practice: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, contributing to their development and growth within the department.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Maintain a sterile environment, ensure proper equipment usage, and adhere to certification requirements.
Qualifications:
- Certification and Education: Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Experience: Previous procedural area experience preferred, but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
