Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification.
- Cardiovascular (CV), (CI), or (VI) certification preferred.
- BLS training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, with current BLS maintenance through re-training during employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
