What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares and positions patients for care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
Professional Practice
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation.
- Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification.
- Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
