The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join its team. This role involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment in the highly accredited cardiovascular program.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant radiologic technology certifications and demonstrate strong collaborative skills with cardiologists and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment and establishes professional practice standards.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in orientation of new staff.
- Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS certification required; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
