Overview
The Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are seeking a knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand our team.
We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. Our hospital has been recognized for its excellence in various awards, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participates in the orientation of new staff
- Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
Qualifications
- Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care

Key Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire

Salary : $28 - $45
