The Norman Regional Health System is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular facility. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a vital role in preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting cardiologists in various procedures.
Our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists work together to provide comprehensive care to our patients. We are accredited by the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, among other prestigious awards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient condition and prepare them for procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff members.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or RCIS.
- BLS and ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
