Job Description:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment during cardiovascular procedures while ensuring a sterile environment and excellent patient care. This role involves assessing patient conditions, providing direct care, and training new staff in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess relevant certifications, complete specific training within six months of employment, and have previous procedural area experience preferred. Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS are required. Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications must also be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
