As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a vital role in preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment.
You will work collaboratively with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide excellent healthcare.
The ideal candidate must possess relevant certifications and complete ongoing training, especially in BLS and ACLS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS and ACLS training required.
