Job Summary: As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, you will play a critical role in the preparation and operation of equipment, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality cardiovascular care. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assess patient condition and prepare them for procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper infection control practices.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists to perform complex procedures.
- Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 24 months of formal education in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Current registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or registration with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Previous experience working in a procedural area, preferably in a cath lab setting.
