Job Summary
This position is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CV Rad Technologist. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide expert care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. The ideal candidate will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime appropriately to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have completed a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, be eligible and/or current RCIS, and hold certification as a Registered Technologist. Previous procedural area experience is preferred. The candidate must also possess Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS training within six months of hire.
