Norman Regional Health System is seeking an experienced Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Patient Care: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent contamination and infection.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
Eligibility: Must hold current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience: Previous procedural area experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of medical imaging principles.
Training: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
