The Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join their innovative cardiovascular program. This individual will play a vital role in preparing and providing patient care in advanced Cath Lab and Electrophysiology suites.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- IDentify and assess patient condition, positioning and providing patient care according to established protocols.
- Maintain a strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program, eligible and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS certification required; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
