Job Summary
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment for patient safety.
- Assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborates with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to facilitate excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements plans for patient care, incorporating the latest medical advancements.
- Serves as a mentor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Maintains strong working relationships with physicians and leadership, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program with relevant certifications.
- Minimum one year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment, with a focus on patient care and safety.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support certification required, Advanced Life Support certification must be achieved within six months of hire.
