Norman Regional Health System's Cardiovascular Program
Overview:
Our cardiovascular program is nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, boasting a state-of-the-art facility and innovative approach to patient care. We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to join our medical team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment for procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Assess patient condition, provide patient care, and maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
- Participate in new staff orientation and serve as a preceptor for radiology students.
- Contribute to excellent patient care through collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
Qualifications:
Hold appropriate certifications and training, along with previous procedural experience, to successfully contribute to the medical team's excellence.
Education:
Complete a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
Experience:
Previous procedural area experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Etc.:
American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification, Registered and/or RCIS, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained throughout employment.
ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Benefits:
