About the Role:
- Prepare equipment for procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Assess patient conditions, provide patient care, and position patients as needed.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in training new staff and students.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Uses downtime appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or RCIS certified.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification.
