Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program.

We have an experienced team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists who work together to provide exceptional patient care. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality services, and we strive for excellence in everything we do.
Job Responsibilities
This position requires preparation of medical equipment, assessment of patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment while collaborating with cardiologists and electrophysiologists. Qualified candidates must have relevant certification and experience in a Cath Lab setting, along with strong professional skills.
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of patient care principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Training within 6 months of hire.

Our estimated annual salary range for this position is $57,736-$94,683, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
