Your Role:
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. You will collaborate with a team of cardiologists, ensure efficient orientation and training of new staff, and contribute to the development of our cardiovascular program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient condition, provide patient care, and maintain a sterile environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, preceptor new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Professional Practice: Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Experience: Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Certification: Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Skills: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications within specified timeframes.
