Norman Regional Health System is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technology Specialist to join our team in the Catheterization Laboratory. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care in a state-of-the-art environment.
Job Summary
- Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Assess patient conditions, prepare patients for procedures, and provide individualized care throughout the process.
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to prevent infection.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new staff members, sharing expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills.
- Participate in orientation and training of radiology students, contributing to the development of future professionals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
- At least one year of experience working in a Cath Lab or procedural area, preferably with certifications in cardiovascular technology.
