Responsibilities and Expectations
- Prepare equipment for procedures, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Assess patient conditions, prepare patients for diagnostic imaging, and provide personalized care.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
- Participate in preceptoring new staff members and ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Utilize downtime wisely by performing maintenance tasks and attending meetings as scheduled.
Educational Requirements and Certifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 6 months; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months and maintained throughout employment.
