Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment. This position involves working closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, maintaining strong professional relationships, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and students.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Prior procedural area experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS).
