Job Summary
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Patient assessment and care.
- Clinical procedures and interventions.
- Collaboration with cardiologists and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
